for Standardization of Documents
The Recorder's office accepts cash, check, and most major credit
and debit cards for payment.
Document
Preparation is a specialized task which may demand legal knowledge or advice.
Documents
must contain: Name
and Address of Prepared By, Return To, Tax Bill To (if applicable), PIN #, and
Common Address (last two items may be acquired at 815.895.7153). Black or blue
Ink is required
Recording
Fees for real property transactions:
Annexations,
De-Annexations, Condo, Townhomes, or Subdivision Plats
W/five (5) copies - $112.00 for first page; $1.00 for each page after. W/o
five (5) copies – $1.00 per page.
Copies: Certified (all
documents except Plats) - Same as current recording fees. Please call for exact
prices.
Non-Certified - $1.00 per page.
Requests
must be sent in writing or can be faxed giving name, legal (if
applicable), date range, with Grantor or Grantee, PIN #, Contact name and Phone

of lien or release (Federal or State), amount of lien.

Filing -
Real Estate / Fixture Filing - $71.00 – Termination - $56.00 for one name plus
$5.00 for each additional name.
UCC Search - NAME, DBA, ADDRESS - $10.00 per Debtor Name
UCC Copies - $1.00 each page
